DIPLOMACY
The Caerri guards fall back to guarding the pipeline except for one, who will acccompany two of the workers to these new creatures. Communication will take place through shapes made by the tentacles of the guard.
The Caerri at the great colony will split it's focus on their first great chore, the creation of new life. Modeled after the fish that were seen nosing around it is small even compared to a Caerri, they are designed to follow simple hormonal commands secreted by the Caerri Colony itself. They will keep everything clean of detritous, will be eaten for food, and when necessary can be used as a distraction for anything attacking the colony.
The other half of the colonies focus goes into making re-usable biological tools, so that instead of each caerri growing their own the may merely link with one of the tools and be able to command it as their own flesh.
The Triath Diplomatic Squad is ordered to continue to approach the creatures, and a large team of explorers are sent to retrieve the spear for further study.
The Caerri and the Triath can now talk to each other in someway.Caerri: With their knowledge of organics, a colony-controlled trash-eater is swiftly created, but the edibility of it is highly debatable at this point, some even outright saying it is inedible.
Triath: The creature thrashes and causes sizable turbulence to the scouts surroundings, flushing them from the cave, slightly scratched from bumping around. The creature may have to just be ignored until it dies to retrieve the spear, unless a way of holding it down is made. One of the scouts starts looking for a strong ropelike material before expaining his idea, which might not even work. If it does though....
The Peretics send a few scouts to find out what lies beyond the car. Back At Landing Point the Peretics experiment with uses for the liquid leaking out of the car and build pens for the domesticated fishes
Not much is found outside the car, just more coral, sand, shells, and fish. There are some things that look like giant underwater bushes, though, which the scouts head towards. Experimentation ends with one sick Perectic who swallowed some, one nearly invisible at night Perectic who was covered in it, perhaps good for a stealthy warrior organization, and a way to domesticate the fish without losing them to tail-loss, though the last one is fairly exact, too much resulted in nothing but death, too little caused nothing visible by the scientists. Pens are created for the fish, but a large crashing noise is heard from the car rear! When searchers reach it, however, there is nothing but a large hole and shattered coral edges in the center where Hedbosh was to be. looking down the hole finds the majority of the colonists dead, with 5 survivors who had been hanging on to the coral, heavily bleeding from holding on to the razor-sharp edge for so long!
In First Lair a golden age bloomed and many new Kriblits were born. Life was good and many were fat and happy, but some were worried for news of Second Lair, hopefully they would get stable soon and send word back to First Lair.
Word finally arrives from Second Lair, along with a tiny bit of nice food. Underground Travel would be the only way there even if it hadn't been the plan, such a long distance could not be crossed safely on the surface without help; they had had to go nearly halfway out from the middle of the Whale Sands to find a good enough piece of Coral.
A new colony shall be made, on the other side of the Kelp Tree, and higher. 1/2 the Floatunes shall be sent, with most of the materials in the warehouse being used to construct the new village. The old village shall be called "The Grounded", and the new Village shall be called "The Tethered".
The Tethered colony is argued about as the colonists set out: How high up would it be safe to go without losing easy contact with The Grounded colony?
