Take into bucket?
« on: March 06, 2011, 09:11:30 pm »

So, due to a recent thread, I was reminded that dwarves will stockpile liquids from buckets into barrels, such as milk.  Then it occurred to me, that if the same could be done with booze or syrup, you could end up with very large barrels of the stuff and cut back a bit on your stockpile sizes.  The only issue then, is how to take booze/syrup from a barrel, into a bucket.

I think the basic reaction would be something like...
Reagent:barrel-preserve reagent
-contains booze
Reagent:booze
Reagent:bucket-preserve reagent
product:booze-put in container:bucket

once performed, the dwarf should take the bucket and empty it into an existing stockpiled booze barrel.

Thats should work, assuming dwarves do the bucket liquid to barrel thing for all liquids.

Though it seems like a bit of a hassle for that little bit of stockpile space.

It's also for super-meals...  300 units of dwarven syrup + something solid :P

Up to 100, since this is the liquid limit for barrels according to the wiki.
