I'm trying to do this without making them an entity. Right now they're just beasts.

Good luck with that.  I've tried many times to create an 'apocalypse' secret that would cause a major change to the world's population upon being learned in worldgen.  Never managed to pull it off, though.

Well, secrets are tricky things. I'm starting with the lizards as an extremely common [FREQUENCY:100] animal that lives in [NOT_FREEZING], so the start doesn't depend on someone finding a tablet and not dying on their first rampage. Now I've given them [NIGHT_CREATURE_HUNTER] with [CONVERTED_SPOUSE] castes, but they don't seem to abduct anyone.

[NIGHT_CREATURE_HUNTER] with [CONVERTED_SPOUSE]

Night creatures use [CONVERTED_SPOUSE], and since they hunt night creatures, they hunt one another.

Thats my guess though, I am not a modder.

Way wrong, sorry. [NIGHT_CREATURE_HUNTER] means that, if they have a caste with [CONVERTED_SPOUSE], they hunt down humans/elves to kidnap and convert into the spouse caste.

Aah, I was mislead by the word "hunter."

Don't worry. Everyone makes mistakes.

I had an above ground garden built in the grounds of my castle and two young dwarves spent time socialising there over the summer and at the end of the summer they were in love. Remember those long summers of your childhood? That first kiss in the gardens while crossbows dwarves shoot goblins above your head? The rain of dead birds as the hunters get to work? Truly Spearhills is a paradise.

The only semi-weird thing in my game is a race I modded in that are called the demonbloods. They are 4-armed, 3-eyed demonic beings. Their skin can be anywhere from red, to monochrome, to caucasian. Their eyes can be bright reds, oranges, yellows, purples, and a few types of blue. Their hair can be red or monochrome.

I also added in rifles with bayonettes that end up severing limbs...

I once encountered a FB that was a great one-eyed scaly wasp. It had a great horn in the center of it's head. It's oval scales were purple.

This was almost too good to be true, so I'm working on getting the raws out of the save file and making it a creature in the normal raws.

Please post your discovery here once you have successfully extracted him.
One suggestion however, add a pref string for its captivating singing voice.

This will likely sound pretty tame compared to other things in this thread but I've modified the ponies from My Little Fortress to be dependent on alcohol.
EDIT: And I'm also using the Pony civ raws alongside Fortbent and vanilla civs + black powder weapons mod.

Made it so that in adventure mode, instead of shouting "Prepare to die!", enemies will shout "You N'wah!"

I would have preferred "Roll for initiative!" but that's just me.

I had enough of noobs asking for sewers etc. to be added to the game, so I posted this in another thread:
