Gave every creature [LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS] and made a custom nestbox called "toilet" and everything would goto the "toilet" to lay "shist" in which I'd build with it.

Making blocks was fun. then after awhile I realised the color brown all over the place doesn't seem right. But with 10 toilets production was steady

EDIT:
of course things got bogged down when a pesky chicken wanted to lay eggs in my toilets
That's... odd. Also, did you know shist is how you pronounce the german word for-
POSTER CANCELS POST: TOO INJURED.
POSTER HAS BEEN STRUCK DOWN!
Yes sir I did have knowledge of this :P

Oddly enough ferrets. I modded them as a replacement to cats andhaad a few in my fortress.... then a goblin ambush came... what followed was.... unexpected. I'd appaently made the ferrets incredibly powerful in combat, I watched a goblin Axelord have his throat torn out by my mayor's pet ferret. I saw this and modded them for trainability. Next thing i know i have an army of 2 foot long badger-like angry slinkies with teeth & claws capable of killing an armored dwarf. Also, Battle-chickens and equipment.

Truly Spearhills is a paradise.

I made kobolds wandering immortal death machines. I am in no way biased.

And when the site infiltration feature is done, we can do that thing where two short people disguise themselves as one tall guy in a trenchcoat. Except the two people in question will be halves of the same person.
The perfect disguise.

It's the [UTTERANCES].  I did the same thing to a civ that also was okay with eating sentients.  They went out and started devouring every other civ in sight.

DAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW AVATAR
Dwarves. Elves. Humans. Kobolds. Long ago, the four races lived in harmony. But everything changed when the Kobold nation attacked.
