I just (somehow) successfully implemented a magic wand that fires runes (at such a high velocity that knock backs are pretty much guaranteed, also the ammunition is almost never recoverable). The magic wand is made out of nine unicorn horns. I made the unicorn horns a weapon that drops on a unicorn death, so you can essentially either use it as a stabbing weapon fresh off the corpse or turn it into a "magic wand."

I also made unicorns have a "magic organ" that lets them grasp things, as well as letting them grasp things with their horns (removing the horns removes a grasp slot) so unicorns could very well use their ancestor's bones as weapons.

Earlier on, I made an element called "halflitite" that had an incredibly high melting point, made several clothing/armor items known as a "hazardous environment ____" with maximum coverage and "insulation" (what was the token for that again? coverage? I forget) that, when made of halflitite, made most of the user invulnerable to magma. This, sadly, did not include their fingers, toes, and for some reason facial features on females.

That brings me to my (incredibly juvenile) experiment of modding genitals onto humans. They weren't resistant to magma either. The tests with genitals and halflitite hazardous environment suits convinced me to just take the body parts for genitals out of the raws.

Otherwise everything was tame (for DF)

That sounds incredibly badass. I mean, dick burnin' aint my cup of tea but danger suits would be rad to have in Adventure Mode

The HEV suits were actually incredibly durable due to their high coverage and (assuming you made them out of halflitite) heat resistance even though they had the elasticity of woven cloth. I considered them pretty game breaking (even though I assume they'd be pretty much impossible to get in adventurer mode) due to their ability to save your life. I guess if I actually implemented them, they'd need a high amount of halflitite and halflitite would have to be pretty darn rare and worthless otherwise (so you would ONLY make HEV suits out of it, not trade it or anything. I guess the other civilizations just don't think they'd ever need some?)

If I were to make a suggestion, is to make the material more flexible and to provide less coverage of the head. This is the reason why Freeman is more of a Paper Tank than a full blown juggernaut, seeing as the suit would stop most piercing attacks, radiation, and heat, but somehow not block out blunt attacks and sharp attacks to the face.
Though, considering he did walk into some kind of nuclear reactor on his own, then I'd suggest an alternate piece helmet.
The main disadvantages that should come with using these armors could be that it's main weakness is blunt attacks (which can break and knock you out, leaving you vulnerable to a good strangle), as well as having a terrible whatever you call the limit of clothes thing. So bad that you should probably not even be able to wear a shirt under it.
Are these good suggestions?

A cave rat that power  spawns more blood thirsty rats, that lives in the caves. Embarked on a cave, and two of these baby popper were residents. Needless to say using a flamethrower on an invasion of rats, in a dray forest... Leads to much !!FUN!! needless to say the reclaim is going smoothly

If I were to make a suggestion, -WORDS-

Well, I wanted the HEV suit to pretty much be a spacesuit for lava. It doesn't work that good in adventurer mode though because you have to alt+move everywhere when doing it. And if it doesn't have a helmet that covers as much as possible, it's not going to help much XD

Also, interesting note, the lava SETS THE SUIT ON FIRE meaning you're walking around in a burning suit, but it's protecting you from the lava.

I made indestructable armor(except to magma) a couple of versions back,  I used a material based on titaniums values entered into night's metal creator.  However attacks would completely ignore the indestructable armor, providing no protection to the wearer.

Maybe that the dwarves never died and everyone is just shunning them.

That's a good point, I could just make it have a low effectiveness (what was that token again? 0-100 value) so it would be REALLY GOOD for traversing magma passages but completely useless as armor.

That cursed zombie tree I mentioned some threads back could count...

Also I've made some clowns that take cues from part Lovecraft and part Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I had an above ground garden built in the grounds of my castle and two young dwarves spent time socialising there over the summer and at the end of the summer they were in love. Remember those long summers of your childhood? That first kiss in the gardens while crossbows dwarves shoot goblins above your head? The rain of dead birds as the hunters get to work? Truly Spearhills is a paradise.

I think it was more Judaeo-Christian imagery (though the angels' description in those texts are pretty lovecraftian themselves.)

Yeah NGE is deffinitely based on Judeochristian imagery of the angels.  And in a way, so did Lovecraft.

So really it all boils down to the Bible in the end.  Seriously.  Read the Old Testament sometime.  Creepy stuff in there, man.... creepy.
