Hi all, this version appears to have two major crash bugs:
0004130: Digging/mining (in soil?) causes crash
0004129: Talking/conversation in Adv. Mode causes crash

If you avoid digging in soil and talking to people in Adv. Mode, you probably won't get a crash, but additional corroboration of those reports would be helpful.

(*) Stopped "grass" from appearing in some underground areas
Looks like it's not 100% yet, just found cave layer number 1 full of "grass".

This is a masterful image of your FPS and the HFS. The HFS is committing a depraved act on your FPS.

What version was that world generated in?  If it's a 31.20 world, then I'll reopen the 31.19 report.

Cross-posting from mantis:

I don't get the crash when I mine out soil - I've cleared out huge swaths of soil on my .20 generated world and fort. I'm on Win7 in case it's a platform related issue.

Congrats, Psieye. This is the first time I've seen a derailed thread get put back on the rails.

Awesome Toady , when i get a credit card i'm donating 15 dollars

I like the fact that you stoped wildlife from claiming nests , that rattle snake was a buzzer and i couldnt catch her ,sissy dwarves
Could you add in the next release a option to force the dwarves to risk there life when told to in order to do a job ?

Crash during world generation using default settings on "Create world now!", vanilla 31.20

Happened at year 173. I tried again, and was successful in generating a world. Elusive bug?

I see bamboo listed in the food stockpile...
That's because Pandas eat bamboo only.

So how do you get bamboo?

I got hit by the Linux seg fault when digging soil (?).  So then I started a new embark, and tried very hard to avoid digging soil... and it seg faulted again.  (Mantis updated.)
