Oh yay, I'm the only forumite with negative mew.

Good god, I could build a JRPG out of that statement, if only I were Japanese.
I smell a bad game coming soon.... :P

Can I be the person not quite uninteresting enough to not be in the chart?

Your tricky multiple negations fool no one. As you yourself admit to being interesting, you will be on the chart, regardless of your wishes. Perhaps as someone's daughter.

Removed my own name from this. I was content to silently ignore this thread/project entirely, but if you're going to add people who aren't already involved in this childish group-wankery and rather openly don't want to be, I'm just going to report the thread and people involved.

Ouch. Butthurt much?

How about editing yourself out/asking (nicely) to be removed first?
This isn't hurting anyone by being here, and the reason it's kept unlocked is for people to edit and remove things concerning them at leisure.

Most interesting thing we were allowed (emphasis on allowed) to do was filter out a sulfur/water mixture.
About 200 grams vanished that day...

If people start adding just anyone who they feel like, I can just lock the Google Doc from editing to all except me and the three who requested access from me as editors, no need to get everyone in trouble forumside.

Also might as well bring this up again just in case: Don't add Toady anywhere, its already been decided he would not want to be in this.

I'll claim responsiblility should it come to it.

Rule, only add either yourself, or someone who has expressed interest in being added to the chart.

Or people might just learn to be responsible and use common sense... Yeah right...

BTW are there any real chances for this to grow anymore? As in does it even make any more sense to keep it unlocked?
If someone wants in, they could post here or PM the editors once we know who they are.

Please, continue to suggest that I should 'ask nicely' to be removed from things I am added to without my consent. I was fully content to leave you all alone to make your super fun happy internet family before. If you didn't want me raining on your picnic you shouldn't have brought me along. It's hardly unreasonable to suggest that the people who want to take part in this can just add themselves and not pick out random unassociated people as well.

My mention of reporting was saying that if you as a whole kept this up, I would. No reason to report anything now when a warning was enough. As a related aside, considering that the only way the forum is moderated in the slightest is via the report button, which is actively encouraged by the admins to be used more often, calling me "butthurt" for indicating I would make use of it is really just being petty because someone said something you didn't like about something you like.

Aaaand this discussion is beginning to be pointless.

My point is, you "warned" not asked. Yes, you ask first, and only then begin to warn if confronted by inaction. It's courtesy. (I lack it, but meh.)
Not only did you not just quietly edit yourself out as many have done, but you landed in the thread and started waving a foam banhammer. The action is pointless. I fail to understand how something this meager could possibly offend you to such extent, but I shouldn't bother.

Your username won't be in the chart again.

But sheesh, much ado about nothing... It's just a block of text with your username in it... talk about being petty...

Please don't go misrepresenting me. I edited myself out then said not to put me back or I would report. My point is that I don't have to ask not to be included in things like this; nobody should be adding me in the first place, and that goes by extension to anyone who doesn't want to be involved. I'm not 'super offended grrrrrr' or anything. I'm just making it very clear that I don't want to be part of this. I'm assuming that is rather clear by now, yes?

Incidentally, and this isn't actually related to the thread, but I'm noticing a rather prominent trend wherein any time someone says something you dislike, you continue to repost insisting that 'the discussion is pointless' and 'talking about it is a waste of time' and that 'everyone should move on' until you exasperate everyone else enough to give up and drop it. Really not a very polite attitude. I encourage you to keep that tendency in check.

If you'd care to respond, and pattern recognition tells me you will, PM me instead. Our own side debate doesn't really concern the thread as a whole; you can go ahead and move on to whatever non-'pointless' discussion you were having prior.

*Is puzzled whether to continue to banter about semantics, about singular instances comprising "patterns" and about people fully admitting that the discussion serves no purpose but continuing to post. Decides against it, then goes to sleep.*
