I avoid forum rp like the plague, but I am an avid roleplayer otherwise and actually went to the first roleplaying SCHOOL ever founded.

Edit: As in, learning about normal school stuff through roleplaying, not roleplaying going to school.

This. I've seen threads in FG&RP that accumulate several pages of posts per hour. Forums are not well-suited to that sort of real-time, single-sentence-message play, and it's also rather difficult to keep track of or moderate.

I'd say you are doing an okay job of keeping an RP in line that's set in a medium that's inherently not suited to it.
