I like cats.
That's a sign of Stage One MewMew Syndrome. Don't worry, I can help. Take this cleaver, you're going to be the forum's butcher for a while.

Eh, cats are okay, depending on the cat. My cat for example, is evil and may be plotting my demise. Dogs on the other hand, are awesome, and great friends.

Because. Cats is one of us. It is all of us. We are all cat in part, and thus all cat in full. We will become them, they will become us. There is no stopping it. There is no resisting it...

Religion? Drugs? These aren't hallucinations or fantasies. This is life, it is all that we comprise of and all we ever will. Cats.

Both of these animals enjoy my presence for some odd reason. I am slightly allergic to cats, but otherwise I have no trouble with them. I love dogs more, but a cat is fine too.

cats.
dogs are annoying, noisy, stupid, stupid looking, and are neotenous wolves

cats are cute, funny, loveable, good looking, low maintenance, usefull, tasty, and are not neotenous wolves at all

Cats. I've always been a cat person, although small children and dogs get along with me pretty well (I always treat dogs and small children like I do cats . . . it seems to work really well).

Especially around here (somewhere in Iraq), dogs are a major problem with them giving away observation posts (kinda  like the Iraqi Army) spreading disease and being an overall nuisance. Cats, meanwhile, perform a really important function by noming and rats and hopefully keeping snakes (and to some extent scorps and spiders) away. Plus, the few cats that we have on base are terribly discrete in their activities. I've only ever seen them slinking around carefully in the middle of the night, from a guard tower, with NVG's.

Back home, I like cats because they have a duality to them. Dogs tend to be happy-playful-happy-happy-playful-energetic while cats run the gamut from hunter to playful to cuddles. Plus, cats are fuzzier overall.

Eh, they generally start adopting cat-like behaviors without realizing it around the Stage Three-Sage Four transition.

I like cats. They're quieter, less messy, less dangerous, and lower maintenance than dogs.
