Chocolate is about as poisonous to dogs as it is to us. We can just eat more before becoming sick and dieing because of our increased size, and more advanced metabolism.

i think there's also something about their carnivorous livers not being as good as vegetarians and omnivorous livers, generally, carnivores eat less toxic foods

Explore the area for anything useful or edible.

You find a few scraps of food (extra 50 pop when you need it). The giant plastic beings still do not move. They begin to creep you out with their dead, glassy eyes.
 
The Giant seems to have disappeared.
