Moron Fort- A Stupid Succession of Epic Stupidity (.31.19)

Moron fort is quite simple.   The rules:  Dwarves have [INTELLIGENT] replaced with [CAN_SPEAK]  I.e.  Everyone's a peasant.  Goal: Survive.
(not sure how trading saves and editing raws works out together.  If this won't work just tell me).
 
Turns will take 4 days, and they will last one game year.  I'll start playing in two days once we discuss any additional rules and goals we should try out.  Meanwhile, sign up!

Since raws are stored in the save folder now (I don't even know when this started but that is how it works now) I am pretty sure mods in savegames are preserved.

edit: also i guess i can be year 2?

Ah awesome :) Bold doesn't really show up with the default font very well though, didn't even notice it at first :(

Edit: Heh, after some arena battle testing, turns out 20 dwarf peasants decked in full adamantine get SLAUGHTERED by 10 expert everything goblins decked in full iron (2 goblins killed).  Turned out the goblins have the skill level to simply knock the armor right off the enemy.  Steel had roughly the same effect adamantine did.  Although odds significantly rise when the dwarves outnumber the goblins 4 to 1, in which case the dwarves won.

So looks like we won't be able to rely on active military for anything more than trap_avoiders, and sieges will be a royal pain in the butt.
 
Edit: Edit: I think I'm going to begin immediately actually.  Only question is whether or not we should disallow cage traps.  Since we'll be using some form of traps anyways, I figure we might as well use them, but I'll hold off on building traps until we decide.

So imbecilic dwarves are going to build ingenious and cunning deathtraps because they can't get used to holding sharp items from the safe side?

Well.. we could just use stone traps only ;) Put rock on ceiling, drop rock on baddies, that isn't too smart heh.

Well I'm not quite finished with my year yet, but eliminating CAN_LEARN has some interesting bugs.  E.g. My first wave of immigrants predictably has no skills, and yet they do have profession names like weaver/fisherdwarf, etc.  I wonder if the caravan bugs out or if there's no caravan at all.
