Another dumb question

What tag to I add or subtract to creatures to make them leave no corpse when they die?

I'm wondering if I use the [ITEMCORPSE] tag if I can turn their bodies into water, or maybe even magma just so I'm not left with all their gear lying around, but I'm not sure how to use that tag to turn bodies into liquids.

It wouldn't be actual water or magma.  You can make them into water, but much like and Titan or HFS made of water, when killed it leaves a puddle that counts as a contaminant, not an actual flow.  You can make their item_corpse be something very hot, so that it instantly catches flame, and will burn away their cloth and leather, leaving behind metal equipment and no corpse, but it will also catch fire to any grass and nearby wooden furniture or creatures.  So, meh.  You could make their item_corpse boil instantly, which will cause a puff of smoke on death, but it will leave all their equipment intact.  I'm fairly sure there's a way to remove corpses, but it doesn't show on the wiki...

Alternatively, [SMALL_CORPSE] turns them into vermin remains, such that they're discarded in the refuse pile.

Eh, I'm fine with turning their corpses into a contaminate and then running fortress cleaner or something.

I'll go with making the item corpse boil though, since I like that image for all the suffering these 5000 serpent men have caused me.

I'm still not sure what tags to use, or where to look for the information for this plan though.

Thanks.

Still have all their gear lying around even after I changed their homeothermic temps to 20000. Now that I have that string to work off of I'll try to find a material or inroganic in the raws that is hot enough to burn away leather.

Strangely not all the bodies burned either.

Even if you can make them to melt and boil away, the speed at which the corpse dissipate would be so fast most of the gears would still be intact and be like xLeather Glovesx
