Invaders turn 5 -

The Centaur Squire blundgeons the Ork from over his shield, cracking the orks head area with the innanimate carbon rod, and staggering him. Gestuch hardly even saw it coming.

the magicaly enhanced wolverine  pounces on gestuches face area, and gestuch goes down in a a flurry of claws and bites. His Shileleigh is flung from his grasp and a growing pool of blood creeps towards it. Gestuch is struck down.

The Dwarf Tinker aims carefully at rargh...

The catman bard provides vague musical buffs to his party.

The hobbit rogue drops his hammer and flees, his hands patting down his burning clothes.
the gobliath whips both whips over his head ready for something to come into range.


Bad guys turn 6 - Mirran, kass duskfur and 39 Goombahs arrive at the south end of the bridge... the goombahs waddle forward but are ready to take simple commands

micelus floats low across the bridge and tumbles to a stop at the northern corner, probably nobody noticed him.

Zako charges across the bridge letting forth a mighty battlecry! and buffing his whole team (+1 combat skills) his goombahs follow a short distance behind him

Shigon rushes across the bridge, and spits fire while running forward, a bit more innacurate, but his shot is intercepted by the centaurs shield. the centaurs shield smoulders a bit.

Bernard charges alongside zako, swinging his saber madly even before  making contact with an enemy.

Raargh runs up to the centaur and attacks, the centaur hops back, guarding, and the blow just barely falls short of its mark.

Rahal chases after the fleeing hobbit.

"GET 'EM BOYS! LET'S DO THIS!"

Ragnar uses his influence to command the goombahs to circle behind around the enemies in the middle of the room, to cut off their retreat, while he raises his shield and charges at the centaur squire!

At the south end of the bridge, Miran grits her teeth as she endures the terrible tune one of the invaders is tormenting her ears with. She takes one of her molotov potions from her box, readies it, and prepares to sprint forward, cloaked in shadows. As soon as she has a clean shot past the toad statue, she will launch her grenade at a group of enemies before darting back into cover. Hopefully, she will be able to set the source of the music on fire in the process.

Plan:
Ready Molotov, dart out of cover, throw potion at bard, jump back into cover.

Rust closest enemy's weapon. I don't care if combat ends by the time this happens.

Invaders Turn 6
The dwarf lines up a determined shot and shoots Raargh through the torso. the bolt ruptures his heart and Raargh collapses from the unseen attack. The dwarf smiles from behind the cover of his dug in shield. Rahal Blacks out.

The Centaur moves to finish off Raargh, but sees the incoming charge above, and adopts a defensive stance instead.

The buffed wolverine thrashes Raarghs body however.

The Goliath waits for an enemy to enter range.

The Hobbit pats out his smouldering clothes but keeps running across the room, with bloodthirsty Rahal chasing behind him comically.

Bad Guys turn 7

Zako charges ahead, withstanding the incoming attacks as he gets into range, a whip wraps around but is deftly blocked by Zakkos shield, Zako smashes at the centaur with his morningstar, the centaur gives ground backward and barely blocks the shot. But The centaur counterattacks yet Zako ducks beneath.

Bernard follows up behind Zako but falls behind to attempt to enchant the enemy bard, however it fails, because enchanting takes hours at a workshop to do and he is out of range, running up to the bard and holding him down would just be silly. Perhaps he should enchant his weapon and then hit a bard with it instead. or enchant an allies arrows with manaburn.

Ahra chases the hobbit northward, hot on his heels, they both dash past some of the hobbits allies, but they quickly approach the northern wall, and then the hobbit will have nowhere to run.

Shigon unleashes the Super Spitfire, and spitsfire at the nearest enemy that looks like its not paying attention, Wolverine! Glancing blow! the wolverine seems warded with magic, a better shot might get through.

The swarm of Goombahs hops skipps and tumbles east, dividing the invading team in half.

Micelus the floating skulls attempts to rust the nearest enemy weapon, in this case the innanimate carbon rod wielded by the centaur. But it is a slow process, and micelus eyes glow as he focuses on speeding the process along fast enough to make a difference.

Miran readies a molotov and peeks around the corner, target in sight...

Miran doesn't like the way the battle is going and grimaces, fangs peeking out past her lips. She narrows her eyes at the dwarf and at the yowling alley cat that has the gall to call himself a bard. Both are in cover, but fairly close to each other. She weighs her explosive potion in her hand. It's going to make a big splash when it hits. She surveys her potential targets once more. If she hit the tile between them, the wall behind them, or the ceiling above them, they would be splattered with flaming goop from behind or above, completely bypassing their cover. A reasonable course of action. With that thought, the vampire hurls her potion and darts back behind the corner.

Action:
Toss potion so the dwarf and catman bard take splash damage from the side/and or behind/above. Go for the easiest shot here.

Invaders Turn 7
Centaur and Zako trade blows, The carbon rod bashing Zakos shoulder, but his spiked iron shoulderpads absorbs the damage.

The goliaths whip lashes again at Zakos more exposed legs, Yet Zako dodges with a quick hop!

The magically enchanced wolverine, bites, claws and rends at Zako, He is hit twice, his defences overwhelmed, Zako is bitten in the leg, and clawed in the pelvis. the wolverine latches on in a death grip!
 Zako still feels ok, the beast just got a dwarven chunk, it seems.

The Hobbit pulls 2 punch daggers from his belt, and leaps off the opposite wall, hurling his little body in a leaping puch to Ahras face! Ahra regrips his axe and attempts a parry, but he flinches and is struck! Sparks fly and his head is jarred, but it did no appreciable damage beyond a dark mark over his stoneskin.

The Dwarf Tinker puts his backto his floor-imbedded shield and targets Ahras back! He fires a bolt at close range. It penetrates and shooting pains wrack Ahras body, hes got a bolt sticking halfway out his back. "HAHA whats that yer sayin? I dont speak DEAD!"

Bard does bardy stuff, maintaining his spells.


Bad Guys Turn 8
Zako, turns his attention to the wolverine, too close to swing at, he stabs the critter with the menacing pommel spike beneath the morningstar. He strikes hard, but he has no effect beyond jarring his own wrist on the seemingly impermeable wolverines skull!

Mirran exposesherself to get a good throw, a throw at the very max of her range. It arcs high, through the tall cieling, guided between the hanging vines and obstacles by mirrans keen night vision. It lands behind the dwarf tinkers shield, and beyond the bards corner of cover. The molotov splashes them both in fire with the outer edge, setting alight the dwarfs armoured greatcoat. The bard turns away from the blast, shielding his drum but setting his rear end on fire, he is burned. Mirran ducks back behind cover, nobody even having a chance to retaliate back while they were busy.

Bernard starts swinging his saber and charges back headlong into battle beside Zako, his sword skill to clumsy to risk swinging at the wolverine and striking Zakos leg, Bernard instead decides deal a blow at the centaur and hope he gets past his shield. but swings early and misses.

Shigon approaches to close range on the wolverine and CRITS KO The Wolverine is immolated and falls flailing at Zakos feet, the fire does not fade out untill the body is still.

Ahra attemtps to axe the hobbit, and the hobbit zigs when he should of zagged, and instead of ducking he is struck in the spine. Hobbit is struck down.

Miran draws another Molotov potion and gets it ready to throw in case she has to. It would be unwise to do so if there were still allies in its blast radius. For the moment, she sticks to her cover.

Ragnar shouted in fierce exhaultation, seeing that damn animal go down was a sign that the battle was turning!

As he faced off with the centaur again, a wicked idea popped into his head.

Wait until the centaur makes a high swing, then duck under it and bullrush him, swinging at his legs! Try to shove him into that guy with the whip.
