Miran heads over to the sprite, who is pretty good at getting plants to grow fast and strong. She suggests that the druid plant a tree so that it can be harvested for wood, made to regenerate with a potion, and harvested for wood again.
Shift 1:
The vampire stands ready to assist with projects to make the dungeon safer. Should nobody have need of her skills, she will set traps in the tunnels outside the frog room – hard to avoid and easy to topple arrangements of rock that will produce a racket when disturbed and warn the dungeon's crew about approaching intruders.
Action: help with dungeon improvement labour if available, otherwise go set traps
Shift 2:
Miran heads over to the dungeon's new mad scientist to have a look at him. She quickly gets tired of his antics and departs toward her coffin, but not before leaving him with some of her hair and nail shavings. Who knows, perhaps he can get something useful out of adding vampiric components to his experiments?
Action: naptime
Shift 3:
Having addressed the dungeon's wood resource situation – if her plan pans out, anyway – Miran wonders if she can't do anything about the severe lack of metal. The transmutation of lead to gold is one of the greatest goals of alchemists anywhere, but she doesn't have any idea where to even start. Not to mention that she also lacks lead, and gold isn't a very useful metal in any case. Well, producing metal as such isn't exactly necessary.Anything with the properties of metal – durable and holds an edge well – would be just as good for making combat equipment and tools. Oh, and of course it would be good if the raw materials were abundant.
She looks around. The dungeon seems to have an abundance of dirt, mostly. Well, you can make glass from sand. Glass is nice. Hard, shape-able, pretty, but not exactly durable. Hmm. She starts taking notes. Perhaps a concoction that, when added to the molten substance, removes its fragility? How would she go about that? It would have to be magical, of course. Perhaps if you consider melting down the sand metaphorically killing it... yes... addition of vampire blood... bring it back from the dead better and stronger than before...
Cackling madly, the vampire starts her research in earnest.
Action: research metal substitute (vitae-alloyed glass)
