1) Serious/Adventurous (Like I'm getting to the end of a frustrating journey, but I'm really into it)
Both. (The key alone might have made it sad, but with that bit of kick made me feel it more in a serious way)

*2) Serious (It should be rights have at least some sad connatations, but I'm just not feeling them)
Key. (The interplay between the keys didn't bring any sadness into it for me, but it didn't bring any happiness either)

3) Kinda Sad/Adventurous (Like something bad has just happened, but I have to fight through it. for some reason)

It's them Eastern Chord structures, man... and perpetual minor keys. Not a single one sounded overtly happy to me... though minor keys can sound happy. For instance, this is a JRPG Song that sounds "Cheerful, Serious, and Adventurous" to me, yet is in a minor key. It's probably the upbeat tempo. Yay Motoi Sakuraba!
