Savagery and Evil .18+?

I was just wondering how I tell what type of site I'm settling on when I'm looking at it.  I'm playing .18 right now and on embark all a site ever seems to say is the type of rocks, aquifer, and all that including trees and temperature.  I remember when it also use to say like Haunted and Serene or stuff like that, but now it doesn't.

How do I tell?  Also, how do I tell what types of biomes grizzly bears live in?

Yeah that's usually what i look for, but on mine I don't have a "surroundings" thing.
