The merchant fleet jumps out of hyperspace with a loud bang. The friendly small merchant station is directly infront of you.

Not at a computer, so bare with me.

(Get the ship ready to head out into space. Go towards the asteroid belt, and find a mining colony.)

Radio the station, and ask if they have any work we could do.

Merchant fleet:
The fighters exit the 2 freighters, however the station seems pretty empty and as adwarf sends his radio transmission nothing is coming back..

You move out and actually run youre map programs, choosing a not too far colony and drive off into hyperspace

Merchant fleet (4 players) arrived at some merchant station,

Comp112 rented some mining equipment and is on his way to a colony

Tariq closes with the station, examining it for any signs of battle

Once there, begin scanning for the best spots for mining, large deposits of minerals. List possible mining spots, name of the mineral, concentration, and price per WC.

Nataril - 12 GC per WC - standard
Atriumclydite - 40 GC per WC - explodes easily
Steel - 8 GC per WC - Can be sold everywhere
Tariq closes with the station, examining it for any signs of battle
You do not see any bullet impacts, burnings or explosions on the hull excepting some scratches that are normal for a station as there are spaceships docking and amterials flying arround in space.

Carefully start mining some of the Atriumclydite. Use the stored plasma in the the cargo hold first to power a containment field in the cargo hold. Use more plasma to create forcefields to protect engineering, and the command center (main deck, whatever it is called). Keep a careful watch on the mining process. Keep in constant radio contact with the closest station, and if the material explodes, immediately send out a distress signal.

Connect with the internet (or whatever the equivalent is in these times.) and look up prices on items such as shield generators, cargo expanders, and other freighters.

Moving tomorrow, may not post back for around three or so days.
