Ok first off... that guy is crazy he might actually create a digital lifeform for real!!
The guy is kinda well known for trying this, yes. He's got a trio of games (and probably more sciency things) to prove it too.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Cool! Looks like he has got reflex loops down, from now on it's just variations on a theme before you can get one to stand at attention or walk forward with all it's reflexes functioning! After that it's just biasing things towards desired outcomes and formulating those desires...

I just really hope that isn't how the creature is going to look... it is really REALLY creepy.

Don't worry, Steve does not think this is anything like what will go in the game.

I think it is highly likely that whatever it is will still be a bit creepy - just the nature of the beast.

Oddly enough I am more concerned about appearance genetics then anything else right now.

Also kinda interesting that the game has muscle mass but no muscles.

No muscles? What do you think adjusted head position or eye traversal/elevation?

I love this project, and I've been following it since it first appeared. But yeah... he really does seem to have a fondness for weird, creepy looking things.

Information trickles in from time to time. It's very quiet because he keeps redoing large chunks. Unfortunatly, even one-man operations can't run off of $40k dollars forever; I don't know how much he has left, but I'm surprised he hasn't asked for more fundraising.
