Still, parkour isn't something ordinary humans do while wearing 40 (not 200, lol) pounds of gear.
To be fair, if most of that 200 lb was body armor, you could probably walk across a live fire range without fear (untill you died of overheating). Of course, walking under that kind of weight would be cripplingly difficult.

yeah well that's where you have to learn fire control and discipline...but for the most part vests are made to evenly distribute the weight of ammo and grenades and such in a way that makes them not seem all to bad. If your expecting a ton of action its not uncommon to have upwards of 7 or 8 30 round mags.

This would be cool in urban shoot outs. One guy lays down suppressing fire on the building the shooters are in, and the rest of his squad ninjas up to the roof. Cue pants being shat.

Most of the 200 lbs I was thinking about is in a giant pack on your back or would either be left at camp or stowed in a humvee.

I know the us armor is 16lbs, a rifle is 7 to 10 lbs, not sure what a helmet weighs. Ammo is heavy, grenades are heavy, water is heavy. Still hard for me to see that coming in at 40 lbs.

Could be pretty useful for a sniper to get into position. Climbing onto roofs, trees and such mostly.

You mean apart from that bulky gun that'll lose accuracy if you bang it too hard?

Not every sniper out there is running around with the M95. Police snipers do pretty well with a .308.

Of course they're not trying to hit targets 2 miles away.

Drop a rope to your partner and hoist it up. The partner can also use the rope to climb. Snipers do work in pairs, right?

Under ideal conditions, they have a spotter, yes.

This guy apparently flunked badass class
I can't say I really blame him given the circumstances. Crying or not, he still basically did what they wanted him to do, so that's somthing. Plus, right at the begining I was certain he was about to rage-snap his partner's elbow backwards, as people have been known to do in situations of extreme pain.

I would have to say...not impressed but I was in the Marines not the Navy lol....stuff is nasty -.-

he seemed to have a lack of self control and fortitude.

Panicking is the main problem in these situations.

He got the guy down but he couldn't put the zippycuffs on.  If that were real the guy would've got up and killed his ass.
