Okay, here's an idea. I have found an IRC dice bot, how about we do most of the game via the forums and then, for combat, figure out a time that we're all available and use IRC to do it.

Never mind, the IRC bot was a pain to set up and I'm now versed in the ways of Maptool, thanks to Moghopper.

So will it be play by post until we come across some action, or all play-by-post or all Maptools?

I'd use the poll system but I want to save that for deciding the genre.

Alright, looks like it's gonna be play-by-post. I'll set up a poll for what time-period for the game to be set in.

Since we're doing play-by-post I'll save some time by not using the tactical combat thing, and just have regular combat (so, no hex grid).

Looks like it's gonna be WW2. I've figured out a general storyline. The source books you will need will be GURPS Basic Set and GURPS WW2. If you need either of those then just tell me.

The characters you are building will be 125 point 'commando's as shown in the WW2 book. They will be German SS highly skilled German SS troops. All I need from you is a character sheet (preferably in GCS format, so I can edit it mid-game to keep track of stats) and a short history on the character, as well as a brief personality summary.

Keeping historically accurate there will be four men in this team, and as such there will be four players. Fniff, Reese, Hastur and Moghopper.

So.. Yeah... Get started on those sheets.
