The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

It was here not long ago. Was it moved?

Could be an accidental deletion, which seems to happen now and then. It happened to the old download sticky twice.

These are the only threads I've heard of it happening to though.  It's becoming concerning.

Conservative spies are among us!

On a serious note, John, you might want to do a virus scan.

Blizzard is managed by dark sorcerers, and probably have enough money to bail-out the federal government.

This is the third time this has happened Jonathan. I think you might want to get Toady to look and see if your IP adress has been jumping without warning.

He said he'd changed his password, maybe a younger brother or sister?

Checked in with Toady One, and the moderator log shows me deleting it. The IP address associated with the delete action is correct, so it was most likely deleted from my computer. Still not clear HOW it's happening; in any case, Toady One removed delete rights from my moderator privileges at my suggestion, and it doesn't look like I have the ability to delete my own threads anymore. Hopefully that's the end of that.

He said he'd changed his password, maybe a younger brother or sister?

The only person with potential access to my computer would be my college roommate, and I don't imagine he'd have any interest in getting on my computer just to delete selected threads on a forum he doesn't read. Based on the time of day, I'm guessing it was shortly after I got home today. What actually caused it, I don't have any good ideas.

This is really weird - is it possible that a hacker has remotely accessed your computer/IP?  Still, it wouldn't explain the random thread removal.  Is it possible to accidentally click-delete a thread?

I can't think of a Virus that would cause random threads on a forum to be deleted, and I'd like to think someone like Jonathan has the sort of knowledge that would prevent such infection in the first place.

I'd still run spybot search and destroy though, just to check.

And as far as I know, deleting threads is at least a two step process of pressing delete, and confirming it.

Does this mean that conservative hackers actually think that LCS is a big enough threat to A) monitor the forums and B) Hack Foxes computer?

Sigh, the conservative crime squad is strong and we are all sitting about playing games.

He must be the Origami Killer, which makes far more sense that Grakein's accusation that I am the Origami Killer. Yep. Jonathan is the Origami Killer. Not me. Not at all.
