You call them ,and they slap you for swearing at them for no apparent reason. They then agree to help you beat the knots out of this clan, after constructing additional rock piles as ammo sources.

Since our bed was replaced by "actual bandages" let's turn the old sword and worthless bedding into a flag that's virtually impossible to read.

The bedding got thrown in the nearby river because it was so pure red it was scaring them.
You  create a flag from your old stick-sword and shredded knots. If anyone could actually read it, it would say "I am SwordStick-Wielder Knot-Insulter, defeater of Clan Noti!"

You continue forth in your quest for swordly objects.
