... of corse! This is a forum, you can comunicate outsidde of the game and there is reputation and other such metagame foctors. These make precomitment and bargening solutions not acoubnted for in the formalization of the pirate game viable and changes the matrix to (34, 0, 33, 0, 33)!

it's impossible for a human brain not to "metagame" in this way. And yes, it's how it works under a set of asumtions that are close to but not identical to the real ones here.
