The Pirate Game

A crew of five pirates has got hold of a chest of gold, 100 gold coins to be precise. They must now divide it between themselves.

PIRATE CODE

1. The crew has a strict hierarchy: the Captain is superior to the First Mate, who is superior to the Second Mate, who is superior to the Mate, who is superior to the Cabin Boy.

2. The Captain alone decides how the gold is divided between the pirates.

3. When the Captain has made his decision, the whole crew (including the Captain) votes on it. If a majority of the votes are positive, or if there is a tie, the desicion stands and the game is over. If a majority of the votes are negative, the Captain walks the plank and dies. The First Mate becomes the new Captain, and everyone else moves one step up the command chain. The new Captain will now divide the gold again.

Your goal is simple: survive, and get as much gold as you can.

Pick your position in the crew:

Captain - Darvi
First Mate - Ricky
Second Mate - Shootandrun
Mate - ShadowZane
Cabin Boy - Furtuka

It's actually (informally?) called "the pirate problem" or something, heh.

Of course, it assumes all pirates will be 100% rational and mathematically savvy, so this might end a bit differently. :P

First mate gets nothing, for being a treasonous counselor. Second mate gets a coin for being a treasonous counselor to the treasonous counselor. Cabin Boy gets a coin for his hard work. I get the rest.
