I was gonna build a tower, but you can't build constructions of glass...
What should I use it for?

You can certainly build constructions out of glass, provided it's in the form of glass blocks.  If you're talking about raw glass, that's treated as an uncut gem.  Have a jeweler cut it into cut glass, then use that to encrust furniture or to make a gem window.

Glass doesn't look as amazing in Stonesense as I would have hoped, so bear that in mind when projecting.  Pretty bad to build up your tower and then be too ashamed to show it off because it's actually bright pink.

Making fun of stereotypical internet chauvinism works better when you don't engage in it.



Anyway, yeah, what the others said. You're probably under the impression that glass objects are all made from "raw glass", but "raw glass" is actually just a sort of gem. You need to make the glass blocks directly.
