Darvi, you said if you inspected someone, you would not reveal unless it was scum. How far would you take this? What would it take to make you reveal that you inspected someone and they where town?
Well, in that case I'd only reveal if
a) he was about to be lynched (still risky because of apparent buddying, but at least you have a good reason to)
b) if I was about to be lynched (as to not waste the inspect result), or if
c) it's late game and I am in a serious risk of getting NK'd or if it's Milo/Lylo (I'm not a good enough player to be targeted by scum early, I think, and if the game reaches the final stage then we need every information we can get)(seriously, I've only been NK'd twice, and of those times I was once confirmed town who has singlehandedly brought down the mafia and the other time the more competent players were both scum).
Also I think Janus said something about claiming early in this thread.
Anyways, read through the thread and made a list of everybody who's not dead, me, or Tyberix.
-Akhier
Quickly jumps on Irony. Might be due to him not knowing what RVS is. Gets into a debate with Irony.
Doesn't want to vote Saint because it would be a bandwagon. And because he thinks that Irony is scummier. Kinda hard to believe imho, but my opinion doesn't matter anyway <_<.
-Jimthas Bookster
Started fine day 1, but then *lurklurklurk*. And how. Caught up later though.
Main suspect for N2 non-kill.
-Janus
(Unsuccessfully) defended Zrk from a bandwagon. Also no vote during D2.
-Org
Jumpy against Ottofar. But eh, Otto's post was kinda misleading out of context.
Laconic. But that's apparently his normal behavior or something.
Blocked Tyberix.
Bandwagons Super.
-Ottofar
*lurklurklurk*
"Soonish"
*luuuuurk*
Jumps on the Zrk FoS-bandwagon at the beginning of D2.
-Jokiac
*lurklurklurk*.*prodprodprod*. Dunno why Painiac stopped playing. Anybody an idea why?
Starts D2 voting Super without a reason. Then *lurklurklurk* again for a while.
So far, the order from most scummy to least is
Bookster ,
Ottofar, Joker, Org, Akhier, Janus.
In a normal game, it makes perfect sense for a cop to not claim town results for the first few days, particularly if they're not about to be killed. That way they can keep going without getting nightkilled. But where all the actions are based on items, anyone can get an inspection and the items can move about a lot. So you might as well get the information out.
Oh. So it seems I was advocating the right idea for entirely wrong reasons <_<.
Anyways, is nobody going to tell us who did a redirect or haste?
