Clarification on item questing, because it's not very clear:

During the day, you may choose to do one of the following things:
1.  Quest for an item.  This requires no action on your part, and is the default action.
2.  Grab an item from the public pool of items.  All you need to do is PM me that you wish to do this.  The public pool is where players drop their items when they die.  The game starts with four items in there.
3.  (Thief only) Steal an item from another player.  To do this, PM me the name of your target.


Here is the order of what happens at dusk:

1.  Item theft goes through. 
2.  The lynch occurs, and the dead player's items go into the public pool.
3.  Public pool item grabs occur and items from questing are distributed.
4.  Night begins.

If the lynchee is a thief and wants to steal an item, it fails.  Thieves ARE able to steal from the lynchee.

You may change this action at any time before day end.  If you don't PM me anything, I will assume you just want to quest for an item.

Any item you get from this process is immediately available to use.

I dunno where that came from, but it's helpful I guess. But that'll mean that scum will instantly try to steal Super's wand or Saint's items before either one of them gets lynched.

I'm pretty convinced that MC now isn't good idea, especially since practically our roles change at day end so it would be loss of time for us and additional info for the scum.

How are items used?

Items are your night action.  During the night, you pick which one of your items you want to use and PM me which item and any targets if applicable.  If you don't want to use them, please PM me that you wish to do nothing.

For example, if you had a Scroll of Roleblock, you would PM me with "Use Scroll of Roleblock on PlayerX."  PlayerX would then be blocked for the night.

Why ? That's better than scum kill item in my opinion. Unless we got investigation confirmed scum + night kill item in one night - not that it's impossible but very unlikely.

The latter three might not be affected by protection.
