TF2 Custom Weapons Trouble

I've been making my own weapons, and I can't seem to use them. So I'm stuck with a pile of modded weapons I can't use. Any ideas?

Separated from the regular TF2 thread for being different.

They blocked modded weapons a while ago. What you can do is put your mesh and animations in one of the regular weapons to test it and then when you think it's fine, submit them to valve.

That's sad. I spent an hour working on it. So, any in-game things to kill bots quickly?

That's sad. I spent an hour working on it. So, any in-game things to kill bots quickly?
Go sniper.  They never learn where you are, so as long as you aren't up against another sniper they'll never get you.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

They seem to home in and pipe bomb me, and auto-lock and never miss. So, sniper is pretty cool, but they murder the piss outta me.

Yup, you can hack in some of the valve developer weapons, I think. No idea how, but pretty sure you can.

Yeah, that one's really easy. Search for a buildings.ctx or something like that. I don't remember. There's a line like "maxsentries". You can also mess with their health and other stuff.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

I thought you could test the weapons you had created by using the TF2 beta?

Yeah pretty sure they allow weapon testing in the TF2 Beta.

There are a few spots on dustbowl as blue and red where I have dominated a whole bot team of 12 as engi.  With the jag and a lvl 3 dispenser its not all that hard.  Sentrys are good against bots and they are useless against a mobile engi. 
  Other than that I know you can test new wep values on private servers, we have had that going before on servers with crazy stuff, but not with custom skins on the weps I must say
