Thats the point, really. If you can't be bothered to figure it out, you probably aren't going to be much fun on the server.

It appears to be. I'm Malkom on the server and Pet (?) lent me a demon bow, but I got disconnected and now can't get back on to give it back. If you read this Pet, send me a PM telling when to come on, and I'll give it back.
