Crown of Glory: Emperors Edition

Crown of glory is basically the same as Forge of Freedom, CoG being FoF's predecessor. It differs in one major way in that it is in Napoleonic times.

Again in this one you cant rename generals(at least the ones that you begin with)

But! People can be in it as regiments:

Artillery
Cavalry
Infantry
Ships

or

Diplomats
a Privateer
a General(Historic/non renamable) - I will ask you for whatever they will do. If you get the Army leader, you choose whether to withdraw or fight etc. If you choose a Cavalryman, in combat I will ask your orders when it moves around to their turn.

We will be Britain, because I said so 

Also in this one, I will be asking for strategies and help! It's alot simpler than the others and there are fewer units.

The time in training reflects how long it takes to train people, but the quality increases. Aka hire less old people, more moral as regiments get reinforced but reinforced slower.

Feudal dues at a higher level get you levies every year or so (which you can decline) which is basicly a draft. The higher it is, the lower merchant income is, and vice versa.

I think the rest is self explanatory!

Done Surprisingly(Or not) diplomats are one of the most important parts in this game. I will put a list of their actions down then soon!

Sweden will be good, I've had some epic battles against Russia in the past.

Draft information

This always confused me, so i'm looking in the manual.


Draftees are taken from the nations men(each province has 'men' resource representing military age pop) and put in the training pool.
Once they complete training(based on the sliders) they are moved to the draft pool. The draft pool is then used to resupply units below strength(spread between them all).

Draft size - Modifier/Slider that determines how many people are drafted and enter the training pool(costs more money the higher it is)

Months of training - This slider determins how many draftees are moved from training to the draft pool ready for dispersing to units. This doesnt cost any money to raise/lower.

divisions get replacements depending on how close they are to home, whether they have a supply depot where they are and if they are besieged inside a city(no resupply).

Diplomats are pretty BA.  Like the diplomats from Civ but without the ridiculously huge price.
