HUMAN
Humans, usually called Romans, mainly inhabit the Roman Empire. They're the same as always.
DWEORH
The Dweorgas(Dweorh, singular) live on a continent to the north called Megrayn or "The Frozen Waste" to the humans. Dweorgas are a stout, proud people who are fond of industry. The males are proud of their magnificent beards and although said to be true, the females lack facial hair. (Think fantasy dwarves.)
POLITIS
Politi(Politis, singular), often called the Civilized by the Romans, are a tall and lithe people, despite their heritage. They were once barbarians that were successfully civilized by the Humans. They are integrated into the Roman Empire, but they have the same rights as freed slaves. Politi are only found in the Roman Empire. (Think elves, without all the nature.)
MOGAN
Mogans are a race of tinkerers. They love to create and its part of their society to donate at least one invention to their kin. They live in a continent to the west called Agnitoas and once traded with the Romans until a mad emperor thought they were conspiring against him and ordered the Mogans killed. With the new emperor, they are allowed back in, but they do not arrive, though some that survived the attack have since made a small town in a hidden location. (Think gnomes.)
ROMAPOLIT
Romapolits are the children of a Roman and a Politis. Such a coupling is illegal in the Empire, so the parents are put into prison and the child is either killed or sold into slavery. If a Romapolit is blessed with clever parents, they may survive into adulthood disguised as a Human or a Politis. If the Romapolit are clever, they may be able to escape prison or even execution if they're old enough. (Think half-elves.)
SPARTAN
Spartans are a sub-race of Varvars that civilized themselves into a respectable country. However, their small number of troops were unable to match the force of the Romans, so their country is now under the Empire's control. They look like large, muscular elves and are sometimes called "Titan Polits. (Think really muscular elves.)
LEPOPHA
Lepophi(Lepopha, singular), also known as the Wolf kin, are a civilized race who live on the continent of Lephopha that lies southwest of the Empire. While civilized, they hold their race as more noble and beautiful than other races. The genders are at a constant powerstruggle for superiority. It may be common to see a male high-ranking noble Lepopha one day, then the next, he's living off of the scraps that he has to farm. Lepohi have a high sense of pride and they have a mild pack mentality, causing their cities to consist of mainly Lepophi and they prefer to travel in groups of their own race(unless they feel they can trust their foriegn allies).
NOTE: Although the Humans inhabit the Roman Empire, the setting for this game isn't Europe. It's a fantasy setting of my own creation.
