I will move everyone to the same army once mustered, I'm thinking the western army, at least at first.

I would suggest investing a lot in Ironclads and Submarines so we can break the Union blockade.

Our guys have joined Leonidas Polks army of Tennessee defending Paducah, kentucky. Joined the 13th division, under command of W. J. Hardee.
WH's Virginians will arrive by rail next turn.

Mines and factories are springing up over the Confederacy, due to the new need for arms, iron and money.

Fort De Russey on the Cumberland river is being sieged by a small Union army under the command of Pope.

The Union forces Invade Fredericksburg, we shall hold them.

Noted :D I think everyone is in Polks army now. But I'm planning of transfering their division to the Kentucky army under command of Johnston(When Kentucky leaves neutrality).

Indeed. I was a bit too aggressive at the end. I feared our weapons were too shoddy, so I moved in and charged.

Our troops were armed with Richmond muskets(better).
Also they were trained, one has medic(less casualties from attrition), and sharpshooter(more moral dmg at longer ranges, efftive against arty) and 2 have slaves(no fatigue cost from force march or entrench)
Hardee trained Int's fighting rifles hard, improving their quality a bit.

E. Feb 1862

Our forces are armed with Richmond muskets and sent to engage Popes army moving to siege our forts down the mississipi.
Polks army withdraws.

Yanks attack Fredericksburg again, they fail. R. E. Lee took command and they lost 8000 casualties, we lost 2000.

Grant is attacking our army that chased Polk away. (Our one)
Approx numbers: 50k USA, 30k CSA

We managed to raid their supplies prior to combat!(Their units start with reduced supply)

Hotkeynotes for me:

w = wait
f = fortify
y = sentry
e = wakeup
g = move general
v = advisor

We fended them off, but lost 8000 men. I did make screenshots but they died! I'll report on our units strengths in a mo.
