Does anybody know Why there are no wiki pages for Body Detail Plan Tokens or Creatue Variation Tokens? This has been bothering me for a while, as these token types are kind of important for any sort of advanced creature modding, but any time that I want to do anything with them I have to scrounge up scattered and poorly labeled information from all over magmawiki



EDIT: Ok, I have now had a user account with magamwiki for long enough to create a Body Detail Plan Token article myself. It still needs a lot of stuff filled in though.

THey aren't the only ones with no good list. For instance: what are the different things that can go in the BUILDING token? (other than the modded in buildings). I can't find a good list.

Because Rephikul can't do everything in the universe in a set time frame, but given long enough, and enough angry hate mail, I'm sure she can get it all on the wiki... Or trick Deon into doing it.

Or you can write some stuff down yourself if you already managed to gather some info and submit it to either Rephikul or Deon, so they can add it without a lot of work. ^_^

I'm always for hoping the info I'm looking for is there, just not linked somewhere I can find. This often happens.

If one of them could just create a new page...even a blank one...for each of these token types, then the other wiki contributors could add information as it was discovered. (...If I had the proper permissions I'd do it myself)

Detail plans have many associated notes that explain most of the functionality:

   [BP_LAYERS:BY_CATEGORY:HEAD:HAIR:1:BACK]

   This body detail plan accepts argument tokens that can fill the role of the tissue token.  For instance, the dwarf sends in SKIN, FAT, MUSCLE, BONE and CARTILAGE.
   [BP_LAYERS:BY_CATEGORY:BODY:ARG3:50:ARG2:5:ARG1:1]
   [BP_LAYERS:BY_CATEGORY:BODY_UPPER:ARG3:50:ARG2:5:ARG1:1]
   ...

...
etc., etc.

The only remotely confusing thing there is the concept of variable arguments. I explain them (and nearly everything else about plans) in what I suppose is now my modding guide (scroll down a bit), as nobody else is intent on editing it.

Creature variations become completely self-explanatory when you look at them.

That said, I guess I'll write up something...

Elaborated on things. I can only presume (having never used them myself) that the BP_LAYERS_OVER/UNDER tokens are used in defining tissue layers below or above existing layers. I have no idea how they work.
