My pinky tells me the German'll attack while our troops are busy in Afghanistan.

You know, it'd be hilarious if we tripped on some British GoIs and then the Allies and the Germans attacked us at the same time....  ;D

Guarantee of Independence, it's like a free guaranteed Declaration of War by the AI. It depends on the AI aggressiveness setting, but ignore this and go warmongering basically means that you're screwed. Mostly because the ones who are the guarantors are the big guys of the alliances: UK and Germany, most prominently for the Soviet Union.

Later today I'm going to play Operation Turkey Sandwich. If that doesn't take too long, it'll be Operation Persian Rug and Operation Afghan Blanket afterward, possibly all in one update. >.>

Sorry it took so long to get this one out--my time has been consumed by Victoria 2 (almost certainly my next AAR/Let's Play subject), IL-2, and job-hunting.

Surprised to see you aren't using Konev there - he makes a skilled tank commander as well.

In any case, option 3 all the way. We don't want no unfinished business here, invading Greece just means trouble with the Germans. The last thing we want is a Barbarossa in which we aren't even prepared for.

Aye, bomb their asses, and could i get some info on our fleet there, if we are going to have engagements in the Mediterranean we might have to bolster the fleet there.

Option 3 is the only sane way, so I'd vote fore invading Persia.

One heavy cruiser, badly damaged after an engagement with the Black Sea Fleet, plus four to six screening vessels of various types. The problem is that we have no naval bases in Turkey except on the Black Sea, so we can't move anything down for at least a hundred and fifty days--the time it would take to build a new naval base.

Konev's got one of the corps that's still on the German border.

I'd rather not, just in case the German AI decides to pick on us for being at war with multiple nations. It, as proven before, would cause a lot of problems, only worsened by our trips being all the way down at the Caucascus and not at Poland.

Well don't we have that naval base on that peninsula in the black sea?
I can't remeber it's name now but if i recall correctly there was quite a lot of fighting about it in ww2.If that is not an option then start work on that naval base as soon as possible, and after our current production of ships is done start work on two heavy cruisers and some destroyers/subs

Crimean peninsula, so Odessa and Sevestapol are our naval bases there.
