I have about half of what I need for the opening update screenshotted. I'll probably try to get the rest sometime tonight, and put it all together tomorrow or Thursday. Future updates ought to be easier: I won't have quite so much to do.

It's time to start the game! Here is the western edge of our великий, могучий Советский Союз¹:



What's shown there is the largest part of our military. There are a few units in the Caucasus region to protect our oil fields in Baku, and a somewhat greater handful bordering Manchuria, a Japanese puppet state, in the far east. Our allies, Mongolia and Tannu Tuva, are to the west of Manchuria.

Along the top of that screen, you'll notice the high level of unrest (the ~23% next to the fire). We'll have to work on getting that down, since it's negatively impacting our industrial capacity and supply efficiency.

I've taken the opportunity to install a few more useful ministers, move slightly more toward Hawk Lobby, and end our trade agreements with the фашисты in Germany, thus freeing up a bit more oil for our strategic reserves.

This is Taricus' 163 Motorized Infantry Division, currently stationed in Leningrad.
