The end of the movie version of The Mist. Was watching it on Anon Sleepover, one of the locals described it as the biggest troll ending he's ever seen. I'm inclined to agree with him.

The Mist is the definition of horror.  There are so many excruciating moments in that movie it's crazy.  The ending is the darkest shit I've ever seen in a movie.  I loved every minute of it.

But what takes the cake, The end of Secret Of Mana, Popoi was his name? At any rate, it was suggested near the end credits, that he didn't make it. 


Also, Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret Of mana 2), where Kevin  was forced to kill his best friend, a wolf he had known since it was a pup/cub.))

Don't. It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of bad movies. All the characters are cliche horror stereotypes turned up past the point of any believability (to the point of being offensive in the case of the crazy religious lady), and it's quite frankly boring as hell.

Why anyone would recommend it I have no idea.

Hector in Fire Emblem 6.  The one right before the first American release.  When he brandished Armads in FE7, the prequel, he was told that it would curse him to die a violent death on the battle field.  His general response was along the lines of "I need it now, and if I die on the battlefield then it means I died doing something useful."  He dies right as you're getting there, and you arrive too late to save him.  He was a true hero through and through, and it helped that he was an amazing character in-game as well as story.
