Just started watching Gurren Lagann and the character who made the show for me, Kamina died. 8 episodes in.  :'(

So. Who's death in any medium except real life has been the most soul crushing for you?

Still, the end to the first one was bad, and then the game decided to make you feel bad by going though all of those people and what they said... I still did it :/

Mindfuck from Empowered. All the characterization and backstory she was given made it worst. How the other characters act before and after it doesn't help either.

That would come the closest to crushing my soul. If I had one, that is.

Also, Eddard Stark's decapitation. You know shit gets real when a main character dies.

ooh, there are a bunch of good ones and I'm not sure which is the best.

Most recently I finished the new Prince of Persia game. I knew the girl dies at the end before I finished it, and I swore to myself I'd let her stay dead for the good of the world. I couldnt' do it though. It's like I had to save her, even if it meant releasing the equivalent of the devil on the world.
