Incoming message...

Can you people turn this bullshit off? Here at base we hear everything thanks to Alexa's, or rather Lieutant Alexa transmitter. Stop arguing, your chatter boggles my numbers! I cast a vote that Alexa is in total charge of personnel and equipment, as well as the budget spending. Argh, incompetence, and now I forgot which table I was calculating. Gah. Asimov out. Turn this thing o- *only static from now on*

*Back at base*

Hey! The switch was right there! *goes back to research*

Blah, keep the difference with bold text so I don't have to ponder which is IC and which is not.

adwarf: I think we should make sure there aren't any aliens on this planet first. Hostile or otherwise. I don't think they'd appreciate us muscling in on their territory.

An excellent idea. I shall keep the probe with you to ensure that all your blunders are fully documented, and control it so that I can bring reason to the negotiations.

No, it will not be fine. We have no idea what their attitudes towards this might be, but we should assume that they are highly territorial until they demonstrate otherwise.
