oh noes! stung by a honeybee!!
« on: February 18, 2011, 10:58:45 pm »

Has anyone noticed any practical effect, other than the message spam, of things getting stung by honeybees?

Also why do I have all these dead bees laying around?

Minor pain and swelling. It's a bee sting, what do you expect?

All of my animals are getting stung constantly because I put them in the same pen with the apiary. The animals don't seem to care, but I'm starting to think that honeybees stinging things is negatively impacting the growth of the hive.

Blimey, that are some serious bees you got around your parts. Or maybe they are sinister biome bees. Zom-bees?

Lava-falls are the best defense, the mist kills them.

Because of you, I am now required, by law, to mod in magma bees, that are not only immune to magma, but inject red hot liquid brimstone when they sting.

Hmm, is there a way to make an entire hive swarm after any thing that gets near it? LIKES_FIGHTING maybe?

You do realize that this will turn out like Deon's Aspids back when they injected magma-hot venom? That was... scary. I like it.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

I love this game. That's basically all I can think to say in response to that.
