<.< >.> I somehow managed to lose the pictures I took, which is kinda sad because I had a couple of interesting ones as opposed to the normal boring ones. Alas, you must now deal with *wall of text* instead of a <<*wall of text*>>
One year after the sacking of Venice,
King Laszlo had just returned to Venice. His son, Prince Kalman, would soon remove Venecian influence from the continent leaving them only with two islands in the Mediterranean. Budapest was thriving now with projects across the Kingdom being completed fully funded by Venetian florins. Work had also been sent by Istvan that his force had landed on the shores of Anatolia (Asia Minor) and was quickly making it's way towards Antioch meeting no resistance from the Turks in the area. Yes, Hungary was thriving, there was no doubt about it.
All was not well in the kingdom however as Zagreb was soon under siege by the last Venetian army remaining on the continent. Even army wasn't a proper term however, as the force was pitiful compared to Hungary's armies and at least a fourth of it was made of up bodyguards for the two generals jointly leading the army. Chance had played into the hands of the Doge however as Zagreb was poorly defended, being little more than a Village and many of the forces brough by King Laszlo were lost in it's siege. With no general to lead the defence, it would fall within the year, but not without a fight.

In the end, the crossbowmen were unable to take out either general, but had done enormous damage to the Spear militias and enemy crossbowmen. The city also was ill-equipped to raise it's own fighting force, but the damage was done, Hungary was now cut off from Venice, which had enabled it to fund it's rapidly expanding military, as well as the crusade against Antioch.

Thankfully Budapest and a fully formed army and with the addition of some Frankish knights, Zagreb would fall, and with it, the Doge of Venice, and the last true force of Venice in Continental Europe. Word was brought from the Pope however that he desired peace between Hungary and Venice and the first person to break that peace would be excomunicated. Knowing the crusade he had formed would fall apart if the faction it formed under was excomunicated, King Lazslo nearly broke the siege to head back to Budapest when it struck him. "Men, don't any of you touch a single Venetian, just turn away all of the goods attempting to get into the city. The pope doesn't want us to fight Venice, fine, but that doesn't mean we can't starve Zagreb into submission, and the Doge along with it."

Unfortunately, Prince Kalman wouldn't be able to put Ragusa to siege for a while, but perhaps this would be the perfect oppurtunity to get his revenge on the city of Kiev. However, just as he was planning to march his army towards Kiev word was brought that the Holy Roman Empire sought the wealth of Venice for themselves. Never a dull moment in the life of a prince. Resigned to the the people of Kiev live yet a bit longer he began the long march towards Vienna, while Elek began making plans for the siege of Bologna, the sole Holy Roman Empire holding on the Italian Penninsula.
((Yeah, for 4 turns a lot of stuff actually happened, it was pretty fun. I'm predicting disaster in the near future though as I'm going to be facing Egypt, HRE, and Venice at the same time, and a quick K.O. of Venice is out of the the question with the Pope's truce in place for 6 more turns. Not to mention the Turks are already pissy at me because they are allied with Venice and once I have holdings next to them that'll probably push them to war with me.))
