Seeing Zrk2's LP of this, I decided I might as well do one too, after all I get bored after I conquer about 25% of the world because nobody really stands much of a chance by that point.  Anywho, notes on my play style.

1)  I spam priests, lots and lots of priests, like one for every territory I occupy and one for every territory I want to occupy in the near future.  So picking a heretic general might as well be impossible if I'm playing.

2)  I generally used well balanced armies with a make up of 2:1:1 or 2 infantry units for every 1 archer unit and 1 cavalry unit.  I'll throw in siege weapons as needed.

3)  I almost never use siege weapons

4)  Every Territory is well defended.  It is incredibly rare for any of my territories to have a standing force of less than 6 units.

5)  Spies and Diplomats are relatively rare, though I have my princesses go on a spree of diplomacy until they can steal generals away from the enemy.  That's one of my favorite things to do.

6)  Unless you specify otherwise, I will move any general you claim around each turn so as to prevent the bad traits from sneaking up on them.

Anyhow, if this sounds interesting to you, go ahead, and post what country you want me to take, I'll do any normally available country, I can also do Crusades or Americas from the expansion pack if you prefer.  So as to keep it fair, I will decide which country I take by a roll so everyone has a chance to see their country picked.

Signing up for the same thing I want in Zrk2's LP, Dread general who mainly uses heavy inf, with some archers and few cavilry, basicly what you normally use but with less cav, and more spears unless you count those as inf. Also, if you can do it, I want this guy to crusade against Heathens and Heretics alot, IE mostly war against factions of another religon or excommunicated ones and join every crusade/jihad called.

Which country would you like, remember the Crusades and Americas expansions are open as well.  ((I make a really really really good Indian general in the Americas expansion))

I've never played the expansion, tried too one of the patches it needed wouldn't install right. But I don't care much which country, I play the same ones too much myself as it is, just a Musliem or Catholic faction in normal so we can Crusade or Jihad.

I'll count that as a vote for Hungary.  I love playing as Hungary, it's close enough to everyone to get a piece of all the big action.

Links or it didn't happen.

I'll be watching but don't claim me a general, I've seen how annoying it is to keep track of them all for people without being able to name them, so I'll spare you one.

Oh gods, that was an unending wall of text. It looked like it would be great, but I don't feel like reading a novel. I've got too many to read as it is.

It is awesome, no Byzantine LP could top it. One general leads Byzantine from 2 regions to takeing over most of the game world.

Any successful game is a steamroll from a few meager provinces to all of the known world.
