Yeah I noticed this too, it is pretty annoying.  I just hope they fix it with a patch or something.
?

I'm doing it all the time. You just need to level a bit.

Your damage and sever power goes up with your items and skills.

Alright, so it does have it's humorous undertones. Some are obvious (there's a blunt weapon out there by the name of MC. Wonder what it is.), but then there are the ones you have to stop for. I just stopped to read a white board, and at a glance it looks legit, but then I read some of the things on it.

"Blueberries aren't blue."
"Picturing ovulation."
"Keep the marker away from face."

My biggest continuing issue on the 360 is selling and buying items. Once you purchase or sell one, the menu jumps to something else. I was going to rapidbuy medpacks, and instead bought one medpack and blew $2500 on Engine Parts. God damn engine parts.

So I assume the engine parts are used to repair inop vehicles?

I have no idea. I don't drive much anyways, which is why I felt the immediate need to stab everything in the neck.

We did 4 player coop. It works for the most part.

The main problem is that unless everyone sticks close together, no one will have any clue what anyone is doing. It's probably easier to organize if you only have 2 people.

I don't like how if you want to fast travel, you must all do it together too.

Edit: Jesus this game is getting hard...

Anyone want to get the four pack and save twelve bucks?  It's been a very long time since I played a good zombie game.

Damn!  I wished you would have asked that a few days ago!  lol

One thing I like too is that when all players go into the menu, it pauses the game.  It also tells you how many players are in the menus.

You can't hurt each other either (which is probably a good thing when you are going apeshit on the undead).

I strictly avoid buying games until a week or so after launch.  You start getting a feel for people's opinions on it by then.  If there had been a pre-release demo, though, I might have been more inclined...  Companies severely underestimate the power a demo holds.

Wow, just watched a demo video featuring the gamepad controls with 'analog combat' that the mouse and keyboard version can't do. D: So much better. http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-dead-island/17-4837/ It doesn't show up for a few minutes when the reviewer intentionally switches over to, but once he does there is no going back. I installed the hacked config files for my rumblepad2 and now I am never ever going back.

Okay, I have exactly one problem with the game: the mouse sensitivity.  In the menu, the mouse controls are RIDICULOUSLY sluggish.  I have to pick up my mouse and move it to the other end of the pad several times to get to the inventory.  So I up the sensitivity!  Then as soon as the gameplay begins (or resumes), the slightest movement of the mouse sends my character (the firearms lady) spinning like a ballerina.  Fortunately I have a mouse with on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment, so in the menu I crank it up to the top, and then put it all the way to the bottom to actually play.  It's a huge pain in the butt, and it kills immersion.  Also, I may just be terrible at the game, but I have never successfully removed a limb from a zombie.

Email this guy, a lot.

brian.saliba@badygames.com

That email is listed in Steam's KB for technical support for the game.  I have this issue too, although a friend of mine is like, "....So?  All I'm hearing from you is 'I suck at this game'" when I try to talk about the interface controls.  Or really anything else related to not-liking the game.

(Apparently a game where you kill 24 zombies an hour is "action packed" (might have something to do with the 480 you run away from, screaming like a little girl while trying to swap weapons with the god awful interace))

Also try this email:
info@techland.pl (which I had to find using the Polish version of their website, as the English one lacks their technical support menu!)

My favourite bit so far is the bit where me and my friend play dodgems in cars down the highway.
