Large Iron Pots!

I bought one off a caravan not really knowing what it was, and noticed that there's over 1k lbs of stuff in it in my stockpile!  Over 30 stacks of prepared food inside this one enormous pot!

Does anyone know how (and if you can) craft these!?  I tried the 'forge iron pot' but these seem to be regular pots...


Is this a bug or do traders have access to SUPERPOTS?

All pots seemed to be bugged in capacity. Also you can easily make rock pots at a craftdwarf workshop with the same capabilities.

I tried that, but to no avail!  x.x  They just store one stack, like barrels..

in a food stockpile i have a willow pot with tons of plants in it. I think i also previously saw an earthenware pot similarly filled.

The only error is in the job name - it's not including the adjective.

Yes. There are no small pots in the game.

I've had mixed reports on pots - they're not reliably used as containers for food but when they do they're a blackhole storage solution.

black hole of storage is right. i've got 6 large pots from embark, only one's been used, dragged to my seed stockpile and filled with over 500 seeds and still accepting more as the plants get used. so, when one finally works, you're set
