You forgot to correctly make 2 letters Captial in my name [/snob]

Any way, here is my revised unit roster.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Note: The addition I would like to make is a rock-paper-scissor-shoot thing.

Soldier has a AT and DF bonus vs Artillery
Flying has a AT and DF bonus vs Soldier
Armour has a AT and DF bonus vs Flying
Artillery has a AT and DF bonus vs Artillery.

Soldiers do not have any bonuses vs Armor unless the SPC says so.

Edit: Better now?

Edit: Now is it ok?

You still have a couple too many 0s on those health stats...

I thought I had set the standard health at the thousands.

Edit:
Thunderclaw
HP:  100
AT:  80
DF:  20
SPC:  Loses 30 AT per turn while fighting.  Regenerated by not fighting for a turn.
PV:  20

You are going to die a horrible death with that unit. First, the defence is very sucky (50 something is normal). Second, its cost will leave you unable to buy half of what you should. And its HP also sucks hard. My super weak cannon fodder scout has 100 HP. Lastly, this is Steampunk era. As someone said to me before....

Stabby-stabby units only work so well on an era with guns.  Guns that are ineffective and work off of magical sciences, but still.  Guns.

Average in 50s?  They're around the same strength as other 20 PV costing units...  And he said earlier twice to take off zeroes, we're not having stat inflation.

*Sad face*

Edit: Still, the disadvantages are too great. Over specialization will get you killed.

This is true, your units are not the average, the average is what other people made that are close together.

He said the scout can have 10 HP and the Cannon can have 100, just fyi.

'Twas just an idea.  He could use buffing.  For some reason he said he wanted that to be his only unit, which is...  weird for a strategy game.

And its a melee unit, for the matter.

Edit: I say we use these same races next game! Only with different unit sets, depending on the age.

Alright, I might work out some more units, tough it will mess up the idea I had in my head. :P
Give me some time.

Soldier has a AT and DF bonus vs Artillery
Flying has a AT and DF bonus vs Soldier
Armour has a AT and DF bonus vs Flying
Artillery has a AT and DF bonus vs Artillery.

I like that Idea.

So, theres four to five types.

Gunslinger
Soldier
Vehicle
Flyer

Gunslinger beats vehicle
soldier beats gunslinger
vehicle beats soldier
flyer beats gunslinger
gunslinger beats flyer
vehicle beats flyer
flyer beats soldier

4 tiers

tier 0- Utility
Heal units. No ATK, 5 DF, 5 HP, 2 PV

Tier 1- Weak units
max HP 10. Max ATK/DF 5. No SPC. PV=5

Tier 2- Units
Max HP 15. Max ATK/DF 10. 1 SPC. PV=10

Tier 3- Strong units
Vehicles default to this. ATK/DF 15. HP 20. 1 SPC. PV=20

Tier 4- Elite Units
These are the ambiguous ones. They can have any stats you want, but make sure to check with me before you do.

PERKS FOR TYPES-
Gunslingers cannot die on the defensive, only on the offensive.
Soldiers Have no perks yet.
Flyers can move through territories without fighting the occupants
Vehicles take no HP wounding, but must have their DF repaired.

Finally, some nice guidelines.  We'll have to redo all units, but it's nice to have some guidelines.

Question; I have my armored A-O W+Drone unit, which is a Utility unit but is heavily armored (Vehicle).  Where would that go in tiers?

@.@ If everyone uses the same stats it's kinda weird isn't it? Plus none of my unit types fit into those except for Agent and Guardian as Soldiers and Wingbolts and maybe Drakons as flyers.

I like it, but....

Gunslinger?

Edit: My units have health in the hundreds. I thought it was like that.

Edit 2: I think Gunslinger would be best renamed Artillery seeing as its basically the same as soldier.

Edit 3:
flyer beats gunslinger
gunslinger beats flyer

Wat?

Edit 4:
In fact, I don't like this. It makes things way too restraining. Before you were like "Anything goes". Now your like "EVERYTHING MUST BE SET AT THE SAME LEVEL DUE TO GUIDELINES".

If you don't change that I may leave.

Ok, my plan is, to still only have one unit type, but which can act like some other unit type when they take a few turns to equip certain weapons.

So does this sound abit more.. survivable?

Also.. i would have to redistribute some stats for balancing.

Now that I've made most of my units, there's no way in hell I'm going to follow those restrictions. Take 'em the way they are or kick me out, it's up to you.

Here are the units so far. I still need to make my two medic types, my mechanic type, and a few more Mechs; create my civ; and write descriptions for all the units. Also, I suspect that I may have under- or overpriced some of these. Please tell me if I have.
