I'll be quoting myself..

I kind of planned to have only one unit type, one which is quite powerful melee-based ground unit, infantryish type.
So how can I pull this off for balance?

So any help on this one?

Clawbugs are stupid, and look like giant scorpians. I'm likely rarely going to use them. I tend to skip level 2 creations in the games becouse they seem much more....bland than level 1 or 3. I'm likely going to do the same here, but the option, especially for Vlish, is nice.

Make differenct 'experience' levels for that units? In game it acts like different units, but it's actuilly the same unit but the difference from noobs to veterans.

Spoiler: Utility Units (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Light Infantry (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Heavy Infantry (click to show/hide)

Trying to find a balance in unit cost prices.  This still needs a lot of work, haha.  I just seem to be underpowered, so I'm buffing around the board.  Made the Land Tank like the Guardian, but a bit beefier.  Upgraded the A-0 Walker to Clawbug levels.  Make a Steam Boat that's more military-like, the A-10 SB+Assault.  Don't want to make too many units, but these cover the bases.  Also made a Fisher Tank, which is like the old Land Tank.

Your Tank has 10 DF more than my Guardian, the solders who know a bit of shapeing of the Shaper order. Otherwise the stats are the same.

Also costs 5 PV more, and has a negative SP whereas yours can also summon things.

Perhaps your should cost less than it does due to the SPC.

Mebbe, but I'd rather over-compensate than over-compensate.  Mine can also go out into water, since the "One territory away from coastline" also applies to swimming; I can cross between the two continents, whereas yours would need a boat or something.  Very situational, but hey.

Sorry if I'm basing mine too much off of yours or being too picky.  The Shaper stuff is just really interesting since the Geneforge LP started (Thanks Aklyon!) and you have your stuff confirmed.  =)

Well since my post was kinda ignored.. I'll just post the unit, and let you guys tell me what to change.

The Empire Of The Rising Paw

The Army of The Empire Of The Rising Paw consists of ground units and are mostly melee based.
They do not use war machines as most other races,
but they make up for it with their powerful electric energies stored in their bodies.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

So if I should change something, please do tell.

edit: a few changes

Hey! I use no war machines! I use proper slave labor I cooked up in my own lab thank you very much! Not much is better than makeing a Battle Alpha, level 3 Battle type very strong and not too bright, and watching it rush into battle to punch things to death with it's big red fists.
Do you guys think I should include 'upgraded' versions of some of the Creations? In-games you get them when you learn how to make the creature 3 times, some are just a small difference, CryoFyoras as ice instead of fire for example, some are larger, Battle Betas being quite a bit stronger than Battle Alphas for example. The ones I really want to add are Ur-drakon, like drakons but smarter, stronger, meaner, and more likely to rebel. and the Battle Alpha line, Battle Beta and Battle Gamma.
I'm trying heavily to base my army accurate to the games as much as possible.

Thunderclaw
HP:  100
AT:  80
DF:  20
SPC:  Loses 30 AT per turn while fighting.  Regenerated by not fighting for a turn.
PV:  20

I think that looks good?  Possibly 10 DF, or 5 more PV?

Ninja-Edit:
Instead of fully new units, why not make /Buildings/?  They can't be moved, but can upgrade your units by spending PV on them.

Sure I have changed it to this.

And as I have said before, they Look like Raiden from the Mortal Kombat games.
Just larger, wider, and more fur.  :P (oh, don't forget claws even.)

Haha, just a suggestion.  As it stands, I'm the only one with War Machines.  We've got the magical thunderclaw, the biological weapons in the Shaper's creations, foot soldiers and artillery and my Actapi with their tanks and boats.  Though I guess Artillery counts?  AAM still has to post his units I think, so he might.

I know I'm asking alot of questions but I want my side accurate to the Geneforge games, but can I add an Intelligence Level and Risk of Rogue to Creation units? RoR is obvious, and is under the condition of not being near shapers, and Intelligence has alot to do with what they do when they go Rogue. Animals tend to attack everything, Low-human intelligence ones tend to stay alone and attack or 'speak' with intruders depending on the indevidual, they are also the easiest for Shapers to bring back to heel. High intelligence ones are the most likely to band together against Shapers, but they sometimes go to live alone, they usually speak with intruders before decideing weither to kill them or not if they live alone, these are near inpossible for Shapers to bring back to heel.
Just incase my edit wasn't seen.
