Basic Creations, note War Creations come in three basic Flavors, Battle, tanks basicly who hit hard in melee, Magic, ranged glass canons, Fire, The best of both worlds but expencive to make compairitively. Creations have 5 'levels' from least complex/powerful to most, the only exceptions are level 5 Fire and Magic are weaker than level 4, by alot, but their level 4s are not only more expencive but highly intelligent, most Creations are rather stupid, and thus more prone to rebeling against their Shaper.

A few suggestions.

take a zero off of each of those Health points. I think a good point value for each of those would be 5.

I'm back. I should have mentioned I posted just before I was going to bed, probably.

If I'm still in, I'll go for The Halledric Confederacy, and settle the province between yellow and green, but not next to either.

Steampunk technology, eh? okay...

Okay, I can work you in. I'm afraid I can't fit anyone else in though.

Here's a sample of the military.  Contains a basic unit from each group; the Scavengers for utility, Mob for weak militia, A-O Walker for basic military, A-10 Steam Boat for aquatic warfare and B-10 Land Ship for important machines.  Are these balanced enough to use before I start making more?

Okay. I have several more ideas.

Spoiler: But first (click to show/hide)

Points-
15 points per turn for your home territory. 10 points per turn for all others.

Combat-
okay, so let's say I attack squeaky reaper. Well, he currently has an A-0 walker there.

My unit-
Crazy bob
HP- 5
ATK- 5
DF- 5
SPC- N/A
PV- 1

Reaper's unit-
A-0 Walker
HP:  30
AT:  20
DF:  20
SPC: None.
PV:  5

Since crazy bob attacked first, he gets first hit. He attacks the walker, but the walker soaks up all of the damage.
Walker attacks crazy bob.
20-5 = 15
However, his attack does slightly degrade the armor.
DEGREDATION-
5 attack points take away 1 defense point. To fix this, you need a mechanic type unit.
So, bob's HP decreases by 15. Since he only has 5 hp, he is no more than a blot on the ground.

Things that will be worked out in the epoch of smoothing-

savagery-
So, the lowest savagery level is 1, the highest is 5. meaning...

If Reaper tries to move a mob into an Neutral territory and capture it, and the savagery level is 3, and he rolls a 2, then he is beaten back with minor damage.

If reaper tries to move a walker into a Neutral area and the savagery level is 5, the only way to capture it is to roll a 6.

So, the higher the savagery level, the harder it is to conquer.

EDIT:

Unit creating.

Okay, so let's say Reaper really needs a stronger land unit than his walker. He was thinking a tank.

TANK OF WIN, he shall call it.

"Well", he says, " I want the Tank to have a medium Hp"

TANK OF WIN-
HP- 20

"And a high attack"

ATK- 15

"And a high defense"

DF- 15

"it's special is Called WIN, which allows it to gain 5 defense and 5 attack poits for the turn, while it costs 2 PV."

SPC- WIN

"Okay. It's a very strong thing. How much should it cost?"

BASIC RULE OF THUMB-

Take the HP and subtract the ATK from it. That should give you a good point value.

"BUT WAIT" Says reaper, " THAT NUMBER IS PREPOSTEROUSLY LOW"

So offset it.

BASIC RULE OF THUMB #2

Offset it.

If you don't think that a number doesn't quite fit, don't worry. I'll look at it and be angry at you for godmodding, and nag you to change the PV.

Sounds cool.  With armor degrading, perhaps that should only apply to mechanical units?  Like, the Shaper's Thaads can take damage without losing armor because it's natural, but my walkers need a bit of repair?  The setback is that armored units automatically get...  +5 health, or +10, or 1 less PV?

Edit:  Your edit is one of the best edits ever.

I should probably buff the tank.  If I'm getting at least 15 points a turn, I can make something bigger.  Alternatively, I can make something bigger.  C-20 Tank, anyone?

I can't figure out how much my human units would cost, they are different groups within the Shaper Order, not ordinary citizens who never learned shapeing.
Everyone but my human units has natural armor >:D . Though Magic creations have crap for armor, andhealth in most cases, yay for glass cannons?

Roamer
Type:Fire
HP:40
AT:30
DF:20
SPC:Acid spit
PV:?

Using the Rule of thumb, those would cost 10 points each. A good point value.

Not really. It costs quite a bit to manufacture, and you get a fucking behemoth for it. However, Not only do you have to worry about HP repair, Also DF repair.

Elite Shaper units, Creations make up most of a Shaper army with one or two members of the order watching over them, usually.

Those would probably cost 20 points each to manufacture. The SPC would cost 2, 6, and 4 respectivley.

20 huh? These are supposed to be the elite, only Drakons and Gazers, the two unquestionibly strongest Creations, should be able to match a Shaper one on one, I think I need to beef them up a bit.
Can I have multible SPCs for some units? Downsides specificly, Drakons are the only Crations that can Shape, but they are highly intelligent and willful and like to rebel, I want the Shapeing and the likelyness to Rebel on their SPC.

Ok, then I get the south part of the southern Island. ALL OF IT, because no one has any claims on it to my belief.

I have a race of Half-men half wolves. There land is basically a assortment of tribes that have there own inner diplomacy, even small skrimishes between each other. However, in their goverment system, only the goverment is allowed to do assortments with other races and nations. The only time tribes unite to help each other is in either a case of national emergency, or war. They also have very little control over magic.

I will make my units, and hereby set the standard. I also wish to add a few things.
Spoiler: Units (click to show/hide)

I am called the Federation of United Wolfdom

Take 2 0's off for all units HP except for flier and artillery, which would do good with only 1 zero missing.

Sure. Multiple SPCs are okay. Looking back, a better value would probably be around 35-40.

Walker and steam boat should cost 10. Land ship should cost 15.

The A-0 Walker is exactly as strong as his Thaad, which you said costs 5...  But I will readjust.

Most of the other units seem to have an enormous Attack count.  I might need to increase my defensive and HP, since the "Elite Hunter's Unit" can one shot everything I have.

Thanks for the thing about multible SPCs, need to add 'decreases chance of 'rogueness' among creations near by' to my Shaper units now. All creations can go rogue, those in the pressence of a shaper(with some exceptions) are less likely by quite a bit, and the longer they are away from a  Shaper the more likely to go rogue they are. Depending on the creature Rogue is either attack everyone, go live alone, or get pissed, side with other rogues, and attack Shapers.

I know I'm asking alot of questions but I want my side accurate to the Geneforge games, but can I add an Intelligence Level and Risk of Rogue to Creation units? RoR is obvious, and is under the condition of not being near shapers, and Intelligence has alot to do with what they do when they go Rogue. Animals tend to attack everything, Low-human intelligence ones tend to stay alone and attack or 'speak' with intruders depending on the indevidual, they are also the easiest for Shapers to bring back to heel. High intelligence ones are the most likely to band together against Shapers, but they sometimes go to live alone, they usually speak with intruders before decideing weither to kill them or not if they live alone, these are near inpossible for Shapers to bring back to heel.

That made me think...

NEW PERK FOR VEHICLES-

They take no wounds, they only take degredation.

WOUNDS-

When an organic unit fights, if it gets damaged, it must be healed by a medic type unit for it to fight with full HP.

Agh. Myh head hurts from all this complexity. However, If we can ever get all of the kinks ironed out, This is going to be one HELL of  a fun game.

Be back tommorrow.

That's cool.  I do need to buff a lot though.  Clawbugs can take on two Walkers, and cost the same.  xD
