Changing Start-Dwarf Number?
« on: February 18, 2011, 06:57:43 pm »

Is it possible to do this with some init modding? I really want to get two dwarves for a hermit challenge, 1 male, 1 female, and start a fort from there.
My only problems is, is there a way to just start with 2 dwarves? I really dont want to have to wall my wagon in, and let the other dwarves starve, that would take too long.

What can I do?

You could always wall the extra dwarves out after they help you carry all the wagon stuff inside.

The children of your "Adam and Eve" won't want to breed with one another, what with being brothers and sisters, so you won't be able to set up much of a dynasty with only one breeding pair.

You could always have 3 pairs of dwarves wall themselves off from each other and have one random psyco walled off by himself  and run 4 hermit challenges silmataneously.

Why couldn't my vampire Hammerer eat someone useless, like a migrant? Instead, she went after my only gemcutter.. but sadly there were no witnesses, so I convicted someone's pet duck as the murderer.  It got off easy, with no beatings or jail time.  >.<
