Interest check: Stargate-like scifi game.

So yeah, the basic idea is all players play together as 1 military/science base, you gain more personnel later which you can split up onto the players, each player kind of controls a "hero" which can get/already has some special skills. Youre target is to explore new worlds and races aswell as defending earth. So there would be thinks to do in researching aswell as exploring/sending squads out. At the beginning you will all have only control over youre main character and the longer we play this/the more you research/explore etc. you get units.

Anyone interested in this? If you havent quite understood what I meant feel free to ask questions^^

Ah well, writing up the rules and stuff as we speak...also, for less complication:
1. You are humans who discovered a way to travel into different worlds in space
2. At start you all have one main character, this can be a soldier, medic, scientist or anything the like.
3. You will be able to research new things, explore new worlds and do all the other cool stuff
4. The more you advance the more "units" you get by the government/whoever, those are split up onto the players who can organize those into squads/research teams or anything like that.


So yeah, pulling up a vote now.

Uh yeah, you struck a a vein of pure nerdanium.
Stargate is such a good idea for a game cause you can go ANYWHERE, limited to only your imagination really.
