Oh. My. Armok.
« on: February 18, 2011, 03:15:09 pm »

Genned a few world for finding a cool embark... i guess i did it.

List of features:
-Floating Land and Water.
-Is that not enough for you?

Pic naturally:

And for everybody who wants it: save file. Just don't unpause if you aren't using a supercomputer! The entire map will cave in and FPS will be something like -100.

DFFD Link

Also, there is something that looks like cavern floor. At z-level 163.
Mods Used: only my Monster Hunter mod.

World Gen Parameters: used the "medium region" advanced parameters setting, with about 200 years of history and a minimum  of 30 volcanoes (too lazy to pump magma up from the underground :P)

if you look at it, it looks like a section of a cavern floor. Imagine pillars in the gaps :D

I've gotten it before, be prepared for possible collapse at any time.

Did you read the main post? ;)

[CAVE-INS:OFF] will save time, build a support structure of some sort, and feel free to turn it back on if you feel lucky.

Pretty cool embark spot though.

Doesn't work:

The lake will still flood the entire map ( and you say goodbye to your FPS... )

Could use DFHack to seal up the lake by placing lava for obsidian walls.

I just realized two things. 1. For the Win and F___ the World have the same initials. 2. They have the same meaning in Dwarf Fortress.

Well, that's a shame. It looks like you have exposed caverns on the surface somehow. Like Armok took a little too much off the top when he made that world/location.
