Since I forgot mentioning torches, torches will work for 5 turns, but won't illuminate dungeons. I will add them to the first post.

Hmm... It appears I'm killing you off slightly faster than expected. And writing like this takes a lot of time. Glad I only took 5 players.

@quip : Write in a less smug and non-TVtropes way, or else karma will get you after 1-2 turns.

"If this is a dream, it is not my own..." Amelius repeats that has he walks in circles, he stops suddenly. To hell with this, he was alive. The voices had told him nothing. He would not sit here like an old man scared of the shadows!

Go to the attic, if it's dark light the candle. Look around for instruments of iron or steel, or any water than an enterprising soul decided to stash up here. Hell, look for anything that won't kill you horribly.

Light the fireplace
It's already lit.

Edit: Also, new rule. I would prefer everyone to speak about their characters' actions in third person.

Light the candle
Lighting candles is a free action. I recommend doing more things. Also, I would prefer if you edited your posts instead of making new ones.

Also out of curiosity what ground rules are these spooks following?

Can they be hurt/destroyed/stopped by running water?

Other then the normal effect what does Silver/Cold Iron/Sanctified object do to them?

Can they be warded against without specific spells?

You know, the basics.

Incorporeal creatures can move in water, but most are capable of floating, so it's not like it matters. Corporeal creatures are pretty much like animals/humans...very twisted animals/humans. Some can swim, some can't.
Incorporeal creatures aren't effected by any type of matter at all. Corporeal creatures were all normal before they became corrupted, so sanctified objects and materials do nothing against them.
Incorporeal creatures can only be defeated by spells or avoided. Corporeal creatures are immune to banish/ward/protect from evil and etc. spells, but can be hurt and killed physically, therefore by combat or rare material spells.

Head into the storage room, close and barricade the door with whatever's at hand. Search the storage room for anything of use

Light the lamp and then smash open the next door, start singing 'Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile smile smile' at the top of my voice to calm self.
